Summer 2026, Brussels — from the 22nd to 26th June, in the European Parliament, EMOTIONDISE II was able to be experienced. As a consequence of EMOTIONDISE I, the joint exhibition last year at Ostermayr Galerie in Nürnberg, the artistic concept by ELLA DON could be expanded by several new artists. 

In the center of European policymaking, different artistic voices synergized to a cultural dialogue by examining human connection, perception and identity. Besides ELLA DON, Noah-Baptiste Hammer, NYUA, Klaus Froebel, Michiel Loomen & Marco Hohenstein presented each their insight and interpretation of contemporary European art. Visitors experienced a tapestry of mediums, including fine art photography (by ELLA DON), expressive paintings (by Noah-Baptiste Hammer & NYUA) and atmospheric soundscapes (by Klaus Froebel, Michiel Francis Loonen & Marco Hohenstein). 

The entire collection was thoughtfully curated into five distinct chapters by ELLA DON:

Identity: Unpacking personal and collective self-perception.

Body: Exploring physical presence and boundaries.

Fracture: Confronting societal division and personal vulnerability.

Reality: Questioning the modern environments we navigate.

Condition: Reflecting on the shared reality of human existence.

The second iteration of EMOTIONDISE by ELLA DON successfully transformed a political hall into a space of emotional reflection, proving that art remains a universal language of exchange.

To me, Emotiondise II was a successful visual testament to the interconnectedness of contemporary artistic expression. I am very pleased with how our different artistic visions worked out together. I feel like especially the difference in expressive disciplines lead to a harmonic and witnessable landscape. I am looking forward to further endeavours with fellow artists Ole Kloss and NYUA.
